San Francisco’s BEST Food Street: Clement Street

January 23, 2026

Clement Street was voted San Francisco’s #1 food street by our instagram followers. After hundreds of votes and a 12-street bracket style showdown, Clement came out on top. And honestly, it’s not hard to see why.

Valencia Street (2nd Place Overall) and Mission Street (3rd Place Overall) were strong contenders, but Clement Street took the top spot winning 51% of the votes in the final poll. With nonstop restaurants, tons of character, and a mix of favorites and hidden gems packed on nearly every block, it’s easy to see why. Here are a few of the top-rated spots that sealed the win

#1: Burma Superstar | 4.6 Stars | ~3900 Reviews

This Burmese restaurant is one of the top rated restaurants on the entire street. We know from experience that the Tea Leaf Salad is a must, and the coconut rice is right up there too. In-door and outdoor seating are both available.

#2 Lokma | 4.6 Stars | ~1400 Reviews

Located further west in the Outer Richmond, Lokma is known for its Turkish cuisine and standout brunch. The traditional Turkish Breakfast and pancakes are local favorites. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

#3 Hard Knox Cafe | 4.4 Stars | ~ 1400 Reviews

Southern comfort food with a fun, laid-back vibe. Cornbread muffins and red beans with rice are crowd favorites. The beignets are next on our list. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

#5 Good Luck Dim Sum | 4.4 Stars | ~900 Reviews

Cash only, quick, and incredibly affordable. Perfect for grab-and-go dim sum. The pork siu mai is a standout and my personal favorite. There is limited seating available inside.

#6 Fiorella | 4.5 Stars | ~700 Reviews

A beloved local Italian spot with a few locations throughout the city, serving wood-fired pizza and fresh pasta. The NYC-style pepperoni pizza and bolognese are hard to beat. Chic yet casual with indoor seating and a heated back patio.

#7 Eats | 4.4 Stars | ~700 Reviews

A lively breakfast classic at Clement & 2nd. The peach sourdough French toast is legendary, and the crispy potatoes alone are worth the visit. Indoor and outdoor seating are both available.

Do you have a favorite restaurant on Clement Street, I want to hear about it! Let me know in the comments where we should try next and what we should order.
